Founding the Regional Platform
Greenwatt's founding team entered the Southeast Asian energy sector through diesel power generation and engineered energy solutions for the telecommunications and resources industries in Myanmar.
2007–2017
A Decade of Energy Infrastructure
Over the following decade, Greenwatt built a deep understanding of the region's energy infrastructure challenges — grid constraints, remote power demand, regulatory complexity, and reliable long-term supply solutions.
Early 2020s
Pivoting to Renewable Energy
Greenwatt expanded toward renewable energy development, establishing Greenwatt Pte Ltd in Singapore as its C&I solar development platform.
2022–2023
Expanding the Development Platform
Greenwatt incorporated Greenwatt Nusantara Holdings Pte Ltd and PT. Greenwatt Renewables Nusantara to serve as the dedicated regional development and investment vehicle for utility-scale projects in Indonesia.
